Replacement NanoFlock™ pad for the 10 inch trim pad applicator, item #6140. The densely flocked face holds a large reservoir of finish and releases it gradually, which is what keeps a pass even from start to end. It is rated for waterborne and mild solvent based finishes.

When to change it

Replace the pad when it stops releasing finish evenly, when the flocked fibres have matted or hardened after a solvent clean, or when the edge is no longer crisp enough to cut a clean line at the perimeter. A tired pad is the usual cause of streaking and lap marks that get blamed on the coating. On the widest pad this shows sooner, because a 10 inch face travels further before it reloads.
