Description
Some surfaces defeat both a brush and a roller. The recessed seam between deck boards, the groove in tongue and groove siding, the channel where two planks meet. A roller rides over the top and leaves the recess dry. A brush reaches it slowly, and loads the surrounding face unevenly while doing so.
The Crack & Groove Tool is shaped for exactly that geometry. It carries stain or sealer down into the gap and along it in a single pass, so the recess is coated to the same depth as the face around it. That matters because a deck usually fails at the seams first, where water sits longest and drains slowest.
What the Any Angle adds
The head pivots, and it fastens to a standard threaded extension pole. That combination is the point. It lets you work a full deck without kneeling, reach under railings and overhangs, and hold the pad flat against a surface your wrist could not otherwise square up to. On a large deck it is the difference between a morning on your knees and a job done standing.
Built for the work
A two sided woven pad on a polypropylene handle. Two sided means you can turn it over and keep working rather than stopping to clean or replace, and the woven face holds enough stain to complete a run without constant reloading. The polypropylene handle will not swell, rot or corrode when it spends the day wet with solvent or waterborne stain.
