Twist lock, any length

The internal twist lock lets the pole extend and lock at any intermediate position, not just at preset stops. On a long pole that is essential rather than convenient: at full extension a small change in length is a large change in where the tool sits, and being able to set it exactly is what keeps the pad flat against the surface instead of skewed.

The reach pole

Ten feet of reach is what puts stairwell ceilings, high walls, soffits and open floors within range from standing height. On floor work the long pole also lets you stay upright across a wide span rather than stooping, which is what makes a large floor finishable in one session.
