What the system is for

The 4 inch roller with an end nap face and small diameter is built to reach where a standard roller cannot: behind pipes, beside cabinets, into corners, along narrow panels and up against a ceiling line. The end nap construction means the roller paints right up to an obstruction rather than leaving the last inch for a brush.

Why 11 inches

This is the short handle, and short means control. Eleven inches keeps your hand close to the work for precise cutting in and detail passes. Longer handles in the range, 14, 17 and 23 inches, trade that control for reach into deeper recesses and behind fixed obstacles. The handle itself is reusable and only the roller refill is consumed, which is what makes it economical for repeated work.
