Why Nylfoam® rather than woven or lambskin

Nylfoam® is the choice when the finished surface has to look flawless. Thousands of densely packed fibres hold a large reservoir of finish and release it evenly, which is what virtually eliminates the streaks and bubbles that show up under gloss. Padco built this material specifically to outperform lambskin, and the reason customers move to it is lint: a lambskin pad can shed into a wet coat, and on a clear finish every fibre is visible once it cures.

Fit and use

Fits 30 inch T-bar floor coaters, the widest head in the line, used on warehouse, gymnasium and showroom floors. At this width the pad has to carry enough finish to cross a long span without running dry, which is exactly what the dense Nylfoam® reservoir is for. Carry spares on large floors and change the pad between coats rather than mid coat.
