Why Nylfoam® rather than woven or lambskin

Nylfoam® is the choice when the finished surface has to look flawless. Thousands of densely packed fibres hold a large reservoir of finish and release it evenly, which is what virtually eliminates the streaks and bubbles that show up under gloss. Padco built this material specifically to outperform lambskin, and the reason customers move to it is lint: a lambskin pad can shed into a wet coat, and on a clear finish every fibre is visible once it cures.

Fit and use

Fits 18 inch T-bar floor coaters, both the Bigfoot™ models with the fixed 60 inch handle and the hand grip models that accept a threaded pole. Eighteen inches is the most common width in service, so this is the refill most crews consume fastest. Keep a spare on any job of size: a refill that has begun to load unevenly will telegraph into the finish.
