The genuine green woven fabric refill for 12 inch T-bar floor coaters. A shorter fabric nap intended for stickier coatings: oil based and mild solvent based products that a long nap struggles to lay down evenly.

When woven is the right pad

Viscosity is the deciding factor. A thick or tacky coating loads into a deep nap and then releases unpredictably, which shows up as drag marks and uneven build. The shorter woven nap meters a heavier material more consistently, so the film goes down flat.

The other reason to choose woven is durability. The fabric is sturdy and resists shedding, which matters twice over with solvent based products: solvents are harder on a pad than water, and any fibre left behind in an oil finish stays visible once cured. For waterborne and mild solvent finishes where a flawless lint free surface is the priority, choose Nylfoam® instead.

Fit and use

Fits 12 inch T-bar floor coaters, both Bigfoot™ models with the fixed 60 inch handle and hand grip models that accept a threaded pole. The 12 inch width suits hallways, small rooms and cutting in around the edge of a larger floor.
