How it lays the finish

The cushioned squeegee action floats a measured film rather than dragging finish across the surface, which is what produces a smooth coat free of streaks and bubbles instead of one that has to be corrected on the next pass.

Lightweight applies a thicker coat

Weighted to control coating thickness, and the naming is counterintuitive. This lightweight model lays down a thicker layer of finish; the heavyweight version presses harder and leaves a thinner one. Choose lightweight to build film in fewer passes.
