Why solvent resistant matters

Floor finishes, sealers, epoxies and oil based stains will soften, cloud or eventually split a tray moulded from the wrong plastic. A tray that fails does not merely leak, it fails while full, usually onto the floor you are coating. Solvent resistant construction is the difference between a tray you keep and one you write off after a single job with a urethane.

The deep well

Capacity is what keeps you working. A deep well holds enough material to load a wide pad or roller repeatedly without stopping to refill, and it also gives the roller somewhere to submerge properly, which is what loads a cover evenly rather than only on one side.
