NanoFlock™ refill for 24 inch floor coaters. A densely flocked applicator pad built for waterborne and mild solvent based floor finishes, where the requirement is a smooth, lint free coat rather than raw speed alone.

What the flocked surface does

The pad face carries an enormous number of short fibres standing upright, which behaves very differently from a woven nap. It holds a large reservoir of finish and releases it gradually and evenly, so the film goes down flat and stays flat. That is what suppresses the two defects that ruin a clear coat: streaking, where the pad runs dry mid pass, and bubbles, which cure into the surface and cannot be polished out afterwards. On a 24 inch head that reservoir matters more rather than less, because a wide pad that runs dry halfway across a span leaves a lap line down the middle of the floor, in the most visible place possible.
