6-tire-shine-handle-pack-of-12
Tire Shine Handle 6" (PACK OF 12)

A 6 inch handle for the Refill Tire Shine Pad 6 inch (item #642), built to apply tire dressing with a flocked pad rather than a sponge, a rag or an aerosol. It works on the same applicator principle as our floor finish pads, sized and handled for a tyre sidewall.

Why a pad beats the alternatives

Tyre dressing is thin, and thin liquids are exactly what a sponge handles badly: it soaks up product, then dumps it unevenly and runs down the sidewall onto the wheel. A flocked pad holds dressing in the fibre face and releases it gradually, so the sidewall gets an even sheen in one pass instead of dark patches where the sponge was loaded and pale ones where it had run dry.

The flat 6 inch face also matches the shape of the job. A sidewall is a broad, gently curved band, and a straight pad edge lets you work right up to the wheel lip without dressing the rim, which is the fastest way to make a clean wheel look dirty.

Refillable

The handle is the durable part. When the pad face is spent, fit refill pad item #642 rather than replacing the tool. For a detailing bay running volume, that is the difference between a consumable and a piece of equipment.

Specifications

Item number: 640

Size: 6 in

Pad: Flocked

Refill: 642

Use: Tire dressing

Pack: Carton of 12

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0646/6276/5775/files/trim-pad-6in_b00c8bca-6a77-4ed7-8dff-c914001353ce.jpg?v=1785289804
